The wine has a dark garnet color. The aroma of chokeberry is complemented by tobacco notes. In the taste, forest fruits are highlighted by the flavor of cornel berries. The wine is full-bodied and long with elegant tannins, thanks to aging in wooden barrels. This is an elegant wine designed for aging, perfect for pairing with dark meats, game, or blue cheeses.
The wine has the potential for long-term bottle aging due to its 18 months of maturation in French oak barrels by Tonnellerie MERCIER.
