Another big day on the calendar of our winery is here. The first day of October is the day when we present and also launch the white wines from the standard range of the past vintage. What can we expect from the wines of this vintage?
The 2022 vintage of white wines in the standard range is, from our perspective, possibly the best we’ve had in our history. Of course, every year we strive to produce the best wines, and many of them have achieved great international success and are simply excellent. However, with the 2022 vintage, we feel that all the elements came together for the creation of almost perfect wines.
It was a year when we perfectly mastered the processing of the grapes, thanks to the new technologies we have acquired in recent years. We processed the best raw material in the history of the winery, the grapes were healthy, and the phenolic, aromatic, and technological ripeness was almost ideally balanced in the majority of the grapes.
During the subsequent wine processing, we gave each wine the time it needed; none of the processes were rushed. The wines were stirred for over 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. As a result, they are more extractive, fuller-bodied, harmonious, and more complex.
In our opinion, each of these wines is an excellent and typical representative of its variety, and we are rightly proud of our 2022 wines. We are curious to hear what you, our customers, think of them. From today, you can purchase all 23 new wines HERE or directly from us at the winery.
We would like to invite you to a guided tasting at our winery, where we will personally present the 2022 vintage. The tasting will take place on October 11th, 2023, at 18:30.
All the wines from the 2022 vintage will also be available for tasting by the glass at our popular Enomatics in our Wine Shop and Enotheque. However, they will only be available by the end of October when we expand the self-tasting option to 32 more wines, bringing the total to an impressive 128. We hoped to have this ready by October 1st, 2023, but unfortunately, the delivery times from our suppliers were not in our favor.
Nevertheless, in our premises, you will currently find 96 fantastic wine samples that are in excellent condition and have already earned many awards. The 2022 vintage will benefit from another month of bottle aging, so there’s no reason to feel gloomy. At least we can all look forward to the tasting of the 2022 vintage even more, and if you can’t wait, you can buy any bottle of this vintage from us or order it in our Enotheque and enjoy it at your leisure.
